  • In April look for the orcas when they take a tour of Yaquina Bay.
  • Take you camera and photograph the Yaquina Bay bridge, catch a bird in flight--remember your stay here

  • Take a 26 mile run at the "Newport Marathon" around June yearly since 1999.
  • Look for the migrating brown pelicans from California.
  • Find a high point on the coast and watch for whale spouts .
